Security Policy

If the user needs to send automatic emails from a GMail account, Eximia uses OAuth for authentication, using a token instead of the account password. This token is generated by Google when the user presses “Vincular cuenta Google” in the “Propiedades” dialog. Google requires the user to login and the token is saved in Eximia.

Using this token, Eximia can send transactions via mail in PDF format (invoices, payroll receipts, etc.) automatically, according to the system configuration. Eximia does not read any email in the account. The GMail account is only used to send emails with attachments as explained before.
